Mouri has worked in the fields of mental health, cultural and linguistic diversity, domestic violence, asylum seekers and detention, and suicide prevention for the last seven years. Mouri has worked in various roles including as a Telephone Counsellor, Youth Residential Worker, Support Facilitator, Case Manager, and Research Assistant.

Her passion in empowering individuals has inspired her to move into the Organisational Psychology space in order to influence change at a group and systems level in organisational settings. Mouri is formally trained in ASIST, Hogan Assessments, Harrison Assessments, National Diabetes Services Scheme-Online Learning Modules for professionals working in the mental health sector, Diversity Connect International (Working with Indigenous and African Australians), Intentional Peer Support and Alternatives to Violence Project Certificate.

Mouri is currently completing a Master of Applied Psychology (Organisational Psychology) at Murdoch University. Mouri completed her Graduate Diploma of Psychology at Deakin University and a Bachelor of Science (majoring in psychology) at Monash University.
