Creative Expression: Connecting Carers

An event every week that begins at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, happening 8 times
FremantleMind Inc. invites carers who support people living with mental health conditions to participate in a free Creative Expression group.
What is Creative Expression?
In creative expression, you use multiple senses to explore your inner and outer world through the experience and creation of different art forms. The main focus of creative expression is on process over content. It is not necessary to have a background or training in the arts to benefit from expressive arts therapy. There is no judgment.
What to expect?
A highly supportive space for participants to potentially develop a more integrated sense of self-awareness and self-acceptance by:
- Expressing feelings, thoughts, concerns, and desires by using art materials
- Using art-making in your own personal way
- Expressing yourself in a way that will not arise for you in everyday life
- An opportunity to share your lived experience of being a woman living with breast cancer
Engage in art by:
- Clay work
- Expressive writing
This is a closed group. Please ensure you have registered before the first session on the 28th July.
Do I need to attend all the sessions?
We prefer that you attend all sessions. Please contact us if you are unable to attend all sessions.

What to bring?
An open mind, heart, and attitude are essential. FremantleMind Inc. will provide all the materials required for each session.
Free to the local community. Spaces are limited so please register your attendance with a free ticket to avoid disappointment.
Do I need to do anything before attending?
