The Gift of Yoga for Trauma Recovery

An event every 2 weeks that begins at 5:30 pm on Thursday, happening 5 times
This five-week yoga therapy course combines psychoeducational and hatha yoga practice, focusing on themes of grounding, making choices, interception, breath awareness, and present moment awareness.
It is a Trauma Centre Trauma-Sensitive Yoga practice, which was developed as an intervention for complex trauma and post-traumatic stress. As well as being helpful for symptoms of trauma, this course may also support individuals to manage symptoms of low mood, anxiety, and emotional distress.
Do I need to attend all the sessions?
We prefer you attend all the sessions. Please contact us if you are unable to do so.

What to bring?
An open mind, heart and attitude are essential. A water bottle is highly recommended. Please wear comfortable clothes you can move freely in.
Yoga mats and props (as required) are supplied. All equipment is thoroughly cleaned after each session to ensure the safety of all attendees.
Free to the local community. Spaces are limited so please register your attendance with a free ticket to avoid disappointment.
