Cornu, Cecilia

Role: Vice Chair

Education: Bachelor of Laws; Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice  

Additional information: After completing a clerkship with Forbes Kirby Lawyers and gaining admission to the Supreme Court of Western Australia as a Solicitor, Cecilia joined the commercial litigation division where she provides advice and representation to individuals, small business and larger corporations on a diverse range of commercial matters. Cecilia has an in-depth knowledge and understanding of a range of legislation and its implications for business and industry. Cecilia has a passion for community mental health and contributes her expertise to ensure the defensibility of all MyLocalMind Inc. and FremantleMind Inc. activities.

Additional information: Kelly has over 10 years of experience in various accounting software and is proficient in a range of computer operating systems. Kelly provides a full service bookkeeping solution, so that the MyLocalMind Inc. and FremantleMind Inc. team can focus on our organisation and know how it is performing in real time. Kelly has a passion for community mental health and wellbeing and contributes her breadth of professional expertise to MyLocalMind Inc. and subsidiaries.

Additional information: Clare has extensive management experience in a range of diverse business environments including local government, commercial, and not for profit. Regularly managing multiple, complex, often conflicting, high-level projects, initiatives, partnerships and teams to meet organisational, community and stakeholder needs. Clare contributes her breadth of professional experience and passion for community mental health to MyLocalMind Inc. and FremantleMind Inc.

Carrello, Clory 

Role: Board Member

Education: Master of Business Administration;Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science 

Additional information: Clory has almost 30 years experience in the health service industry, working in both clinical and administrative roles. He has over 15 years’ experience in program management and service development and has worked across the continuum of care from chronic disease prevention to palliative care. He also has significant experience in Aboriginal Health and working with the Culturally and Linguistically Diverse population. Clory has undergraduate qualifications in Medical Laboratory Science and postgraduate qualifications in Business Administration. Clory brings his passion for an integrated community mental system and breadth of experience to MyLocalMind Inc. and subsidiaries.

Additional information: Anne is an experienced public health professional with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry, Western Australian State Government and Local Government sectors. Anne is skilled in Stakeholder and Community engagement, training, group facilitation, Local Government Consultancy, Policy Analysis, Program Management and Evaluation. Anne has experience in international aid work in rural settings in Myanmar and a strong research professional background. Anne brings her extensive experience and passion for community mental health to MyLocalMind Inc. and subsidiaries.

Education: Doctor of Psychology (Clinical) Specialising in Forensic Psychology 

Additional information: Kaine has a wealth of clinical experience and knowledge across a variety of settings, including working with children, adolescents, and adults; individuals impacted by substance use/dependence; psychosis; trauma; and individuals with offending histories. Kaine has worked in various roles as a Youth Worker, Outreach Worker, Psychologist, and Clinical Supervisor. Kaine’s passion for community mental health led to the establishment of MyLocalMind Inc. and Fremantle-based subsidiary FremantleMind Inc.

Additional information: In addition to being a Social Worker, Magdaliene has founded two successful small businesses. Magdaliene thrives on being creative, working with exceptional people, and taking on new challenges. She has experience working in both substance use and youth contexts. Her passion for community mental health led to her involvement with MyLocalMind Inc. and subsidiaries.

Sarah has previously worked in the community arts sector and as a front of house manager.

Additional information: Hayley Cousins is a Certified Yoga Instructor with Yab Yum Yoga – Perth and Yoga Alliance and a Registered Nurse. Hayley holds a 200hr certificate in a Vinyasa-style yoga asana (one breath one movement) combined with the ancient wisdom of Tantra yoga and philosophy. This embodied practice provides insight through awareness of the self-body, identifying new facets of the self-waiting to be explored on a daily basis. Hayley’s practice of yoga has healed her heart, strengthened her body, and stilled her mind. Hayley is eager to share her passion for yoga and express her love and devotion as a gift to others via MyLocalMind Inc. and subsidiaries.

Additional information: Linda is a lived experience consultant who aims to share her journey involving traumatic episodes with Brief Reactive Psychosis, panic attacks, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder in an effort to bring better understanding to families, friends, and the wider community, and to reduce the stigma of mental health difficulties. Linda offers practical insights from lived experience from both the inside and outside perspectives of mental health difficulties. Linda contributes reflections and strategies used in her own journey of self-recovery to MyLocalMind Inc. and subsidiaries.

Additional information: Madeleine is passionate about learning and helping those around her. She tutors and mentors disadvantaged children and assists with research for Perth Voices Clinic, a psychology clinic aimed at improving the functioning and lives of voice-hearers. Madeleine also tutors undergraduate psychology students and is a coordinator and mentor at the newly-established Perceptual Expertise Advanced Research Lab. Madeleine received her Bachelor of Science majoring in Psychological Science and Psychology in Society and achieved First-Class Honours in Psychology. Madeleine is continuing her studies by undertaking her Master of Applied Psychology (Professional) in 2020. Madeleine contributes her passion in using psychology to improve the lives of the community to MyLocalMind Inc. and subsidiaries.

Robb, Brendan

Additional information: Brendan has a love for yoga, personal training, and fitness, in addition to a passion for community mental health and wellbeing. He was initially drawn to yoga for the purpose of injury rehabilitation and prevention after competing in high impact sports from a young age, but soon grew intrigued by the positive effects yoga was having on his hyperactive mind. The physical effects of yoga helped heal lifelong injuries but it was the psychological effects that had him hooked on yoga and pushed him to dig deeper into the transformational side of the practise. To MyLocalMind Inc. and subsidiaries Brendan contributes his training, experience, and energy and personal stories of transformation, modern philosophy, and humour.

Additional information: I am a motivated environmental scientist and yoga teacher with a background in zoology, botany and environmental assessment. Laura has worked as a consultant Botanist/Ecologist and a yoga teacher throughout Western Australia. She shares yoga for health and healing and believes that there is great value in the diversity of yogic practices. Laura enjoys teaching nurturing restorative practices and also playful dynamic flows, with every practice grounded in the full spectrum that is living yoga. Laura offers her teachings to MyLocalMind Inc. and subsidiaries with the intention of cultivating a balance of strengthening and quietening in the mind-body.
